I joined Lifetime Dental in Park River, North Dakota, in 2008 after working in a dental practice in Warren, Minnesota, for 15 years.
I am a graduate of the North Dakota College of Science (many years ago 😊). Dental hygiene has been a long, wonderful career in which I have had many opportunities to serve in different venues. I have worked in western North Dakota, California and Minnesota. While in California, I had the opportunity to work in both private and group practices and at the United States Navy Dental Clinic in San Diego. Returning to North Dakota included clinical dental hygiene in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as working 10 years as a dental health consultant for the North Dakota State Health Department, serving schools and public health, providing dental health education and training. I presently work part time at Lifetime Dental, both at Grafton and in our Park River offices.
Technology is ever-changing and Lifetime Dental has kept up with the pack! With new technology comes necessary training and education so that we can offer this to our patients. Just to mention a few: laser therapy, 3D imaging and milling of same-day crowns, and digital X-rays. This is an aspect that I enjoy, seeing these changes and implementing them for the quality dental care our patients receive. I love seeing “my” patients when they come for their hygiene appointments and hope that I have been an influence for their oral health as well as their health in general.
I am from Park River and live here now with my husband of 40 years. We have two daughters and six grandchildren. We enjoy traveling and look forward to doing more when we retire.
Amy joined our team in September 2001 and became DANB certified in 2006. She loves the family feeling of our office and continually works to increase her knowledge and advance her education in order to help our practice grow and better serve our patients.
Amy has four children and three grandchildren. Outside the office she loves DIY projects and creating things with her grandkids.
I started at Lifetime Dental in 2008 and am a dental assistant. I enjoy interactions with patients and co-workers. I try to be positive and relaxed when with a patient to keep them at ease and I do my best to educate patients so they understand their treatments.
I live in Grand Forks with my husband and our dog. We enjoy outdoor activities, hiking and anything to do with water. I have a passion for photography, despite not having much time for it. I also love to travel, so if you see me at the office, ask me about it!
